I'm still fascinated by the psychology, signals, and communications that are involved in walking a dog. It's also interesting to watch cats negotiate past each other when the changing of the guard takes place.

Mixed Signals
Seems to me this happens frequently. It is risky to leave a chair when MacKenzie is around.

Tassel at the Drawing board
Some time one goes to the drawing board with an idea; sometimes just to doodle and hope a cartoon idea develops. Ideas were scarce last night so I drew Tassel at the board with Cartoonist block. No inspiration. It's not funny but it's reasonably cute and will have to do.

The Real Sam and Babe
Sam and Babe, as cartoon cats, frequently appear in my cartoons and on this blog. Caught them both sleeping this afternoon, a beautiful sunny afternoon. But then I was inside too and at the computer. (They weren't on the same couch.)

MacKenzie Plus
In the first cartoon, I started with the idea of a human totem pole. The cats on the shoulders seemed sufficient, but MacKenzie got in the picture anyway. Ms. T told me that MacKenzie really gets "bugged" if there's a fly in the house. This caused me to speculate on what might await her when they go to the shore for the summer.
